Rumble at the Rock

The Rumble at the rock was Ansen's very first wrestling match last year. It was nuts and there were so many good wrestlers and our heads were just plain spinning.  This year was a different story.
This boy came prepared to win matches and take home a medal.
He had his cheering team right there every step of the way and it was so fun to watch everyone so excited for him.

He wreslted his little heart out and guess what?
2nd place baby!  Last year he didn't even come close to placing.  This year, 2nd! Wow!

Great job, Ansen!  We are proud of you!

Thanksgiving

This year we hosted thanksgiving at our house and it was a lot of fun.  Grandma & Grandpa, Danna and kids, David & Blanca (and girls), Angie and Steph and Jordan all came.  We had a full house and it was nice.  We also had the missionaries over. Like I said, it was a full house.
We made a big huge food line that began in the kitchen and wound through the dining room.

There was a lot of cousin snuggle time and movie watching which was perfect because it was so snowy out.

Grandma and all but one (Sarah)  granddaughters.

The happy hosts-
Cousins=best friends

On black Firday when everyone was at the DUCKS game the girls and I went shopping. As usual, we only came back with the best black Friday deals-cheese and tampons.  We did go to a movie to make up for the lame purchases.  If you have time the last Hunger Games movie was really good.
We have so much to be thankful for and we are so full of blessings that make us feel so loved.  Gratitude is one of the qualities that is easily spotted in other humans. I hope my family reflects our thankfulness each day.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Last few days

We soaked up the Oregon sunshine before we sent Jamie and Landen onto Massachusetts. What a pretty day.

We couldn't have Jam go without seeing Petersen's Rock Garden.  It's a little cheesy and not super pretty this time of year but still worth a look.

We thought Landen needed to have a quick visit with the man in red.
These two talked American football and yelled at the tv together.
 Love these 4.
Landen doesn't have a tub at home so we introduced them to him.  I'm happy to report that he loves them!

Before Jam and Landen got on the plane the kids had wheelchair races.  There was no one around so it was a good way to pass time.

Thanks for coming Jamie!  We love you and we will see you soon!
