The ward had their first ever Halloween carnival and it was so great. Everyone was a little leery of it but once it got rolling people loved it!

Stake Confernce

Never answer your phone 2 days before stake conference. If you do most likely you will be asked to "fill in" for the Stake President.

It went alright.  And now I shouldn't have to speak for at least a year, right?

Stuff lately

When you are relief society president and someone calls and needs you but this is on their front door...

 When your girls go on a daddy-daughter date to a DUCKS game in October...

 When you've been busting your bust for 45 days straight and, while you feel good and things fit better, that dang scale won't change... 

 When your oldest gets asked to homecoming...

 When you get an amazing new park in town and your kids are obsessed with it...

Our fall weather has been amazing.  The windows (and doors) are still open most days and its just perfect! Our nights are cool and our days are warm. I sure do loving living on this side of the mountain.

Braley is an avid reader.  She will read almost anything she can get her hands on and we love that about her but sometimes we have to cut her off.  Her book habit can get a little pricey.  Whenever we do that she just picks up her favorite series and re-reads it.  She and the Harry Potter series are soulmates.  Jason and I decided to surprise our Hermonie Granger wanna be with her very own Hogwarts robes, school uniform and wand.  To say she was happy is an understatement.

She's died and gone to Hogwarts.

Temple trip and Cecilia's home!!

The girls had a temple trip this weekend which both Jason and I were able to attend with them.  It was so wonderful to be there all together.

 Ansen was lucky enough to hang out with Hailey while we were in the temple.  He loves it when he gets to hang out with his Woodburn friends.  I don't blame him, they are pretty great.

 After the temple we went to welcome Cecilia home from her mission.  She got home mid-week and we are so happy to have her home.  She is the first returned missionary in the family since Jason returned home from his mission yearssssss ago.  Florida was good to her and we can't wait to spend more time with her so we can hear all her wonderful mission experiences.

 Meet Petunia, our newest addition to our Halloween decorations.  She's lovely, no?  The kids are still a bit leery around her because up close she is quite unnerving but slowly they'll get used to her.
