Conference Weekend started out with these two yahoo's working hard on headstands.
I had to get in on the action.
We enjoyed conference and we even had an avid note-taker. She was fun to watch.
We spotted Scott during the opening song! *Whew* Last conference it took us til the last session to find him. This was way better.
When she needed a break from note-taking she worked on headstands while listening.
Between sessions Dad and Ansen took out the old busted fence so that next weekend a new fence can go in.
I have big kids, I know. But I still want to do somethings that we did when they were little to celebrate the holidays. Thankfully Braley and Ansen wanted to decorate Easter eggs with me.
We did the old stand-by of dipping and dunking and we also tried a new paint-in-a-bag method. I loved it. I was more creative and cleaner. The only negative was the eggs took forever to dry.
It was Easter. We took this picture last year while we were hiking in Bryce canyon and I just love it. To me, this is what tomb must have looked like.
The Easter Bunny dropped by. He brought some candy, hid some eggs and each kido got an outfit.
Ansen wrote the Easter Bunny and he was nice enough to respond.
The bunny was pretty simple this year and the kids didn't seem to mind that at all. Of course, he did hide eggs though!
Between sessions of conference Jason took us for a drive out on the Crooked River. He took us to a camp that he would go to growing up. We took a walk and had some lunch and we wanted to stay longer but it was super cold. It looks as though our beautiful weather has gone away for a bit.
We had a great weekend just relaxing, soaking in the talks and enjoying being with each other.
