Magic Kingdom

In the rain...and not just a sprinkle but a pouring down rain. Who cares tho? We're on vacation!

Thank goodness we all had our trusty ponchos to keep us dry-ish.

The Jungle Cruise

 Rocky Mountain Railroad
We spent a little time on Tom Sawyers island
 And the Tea Cups

And then there is this picture.  It's quite possibly my favorite picture of the trip for a few reasons.
1st: We had never ridden the Astro Orbiter before. We always thought it was a "filler" ride and was for little kids.  Let me tell you. This puppy moves!!! It's like Dumbo but wayyyyyy higher and much faster.
2nd: It's a good picture of us. Even if we are wearing ponchos.
3rd: Look at Mike!  He is one sad Astro orbiter. Right before the ride started Tab decided it wasn't for her. Too confined (it was a **tight** fit for two adults), too high. I don't blame her at all.  So she hopped out of their spaceship and left Mike to ride solo.  Jase and I didn't know this was going on behind us but once we saw the pic and how sad he was it made us want to buy him a Mickey Mouse ice cream cone to cheer him up.
Me and my Indian.  When I was little I got lost at DisneyLand and I just held his hand until some nice lady helped to get to the kids lost and found.

Maybe we aren't as young as we used to be and, maybe one if us needs a nap after the ElectroMagic Parade but that doesn't mean we aren't fun.  We are the life of Walt Disney World.

Thanks for the fun trip Universal and Walt Disney World.  We'll be back!

EPCOT

EPCOT is our happy place.  We love it.  Even when its freeeeezing cold. It's just one of those places that has a lot of memories. We honeymooned there, worked a quarter mile away, have come on our own, with the kids, with family and with  friends. We really, really love EPCOT.

 Mexico

 Norway
Yes, we did stuff our faces in Norway (sorry, kids!)

 China
 Germany
We always take this picture in Italy. Every single visit.

 America (for Kahau)
Morocco
France (for Braley)
 The UK
 Canada
I didn't take one single picture in Japan. I feel bad. It is really pretty. Just pretend for me okay?
 EPCOT at night
Other than being pretty cold it was a great day.  Nice and relaxed.  Lots of poking around and seeing things that don't usually get noticed. The fireworks didn't disappoint either.  They are always great!
Good day today that's for sure.

Universal Studios

Yes...Universal Studios....the home of Harry Potter and some crazy fun roller coasters. It was great weather and a perfect day to be running all over.  The lines were mostly short (really, I think the longest one we stood in was about 35 mins) and the 4 of us had fun.  Even tab, who hatessssssssss roller coasters.  It's picture overload but her you go:

After a few good rides we headed over to Hogsmeade to hang out at Hogwarts. I was here a few years ago with Jason and man, this place was packed.  Today however, it wasn't bad at all. We waled onto everything in Hogsmeade and even got into some of the shops without having to wait.  Last time the wait was an hour minimum. Today was nice.

I'm not going to lie.  I about hyperventilated when we got on the Hogwarts Express. Universal has just opened up another piece to the Harry Potter park: Diagon Alley and the way you get there is by riding the Hogwarts Express. I was one happy muggle.
Whilst in Diagon Alley you could also go to knockturn Alley (where all the Dark Magic is).  Not going to lie again...it was creepy.  And cool.  But mostly creepy.  I put on my brave face and I lived.

Olivander's wand shoppe in Hogsmeade is always crazy but in Diagon Alley we pretty much got right in. It was really cool.

(cause we know how tough I am)

We had a really great day. Universal has some great rides and Jason and I think the kids would really like it.  The drawback?  It's so dang expensive. Like way more than Walt Disney World.  Oh well.

We went to dinner at a dueling piano bar thingy on Universal Property that was awesome!  These guys were amazing and fun.  I've never considered myself a dueling pianos kinda girl but I've seen the light and I'm converted.  I think we sat there for 2, maybe 3 hours just eating, singing, and enjoying the atmosphere.  The only thing that made us finally start heading back to our condo was that we knew we had 2 more full, busy days ahead of us.
